The prize-winner helps the Gardner children learn how to deal with those who might try to sabotage their work, as well as how to design an impressive experiment when they return home. Susie and Bennetta??s science investigation takes a surprising turn when they step in to help two of their friends face difficult personal problems. Once again, Susie questions whether her shoes are really magical or if there is some other explanation as to why she so vividly remembers these events from the past.
