Have you ever wondered what youa??d ask for if someone granted you three wishes? Thata??s what happened to Susanah. Youa??d think a seven-year-old girl wouldna??t have a care in the world on a beautiful summer afternoon when shea??s out in a boat with her grandfather, Champ, and his Cocker Spaniel, Payson. A light breeze is keeping them cool, while they get a suntan. The little outboard motor putters along, pushing their sailboat toward an island where theya??ll land, have a picnic and go exploring. Susanah discovers a frog among the dead leaves in the bottom of the boat--not just a cute little frog but a tree frog that is an unusual white color. And this frog can talk! Susanah and Champ are astounded and Susanah wants to take him home as a pet. But this grumpy, bass-voiced frog has other ideas. He promises if shea??ll set him free, unharmed, in the woods of a nearby island, he'll grant her three wishes. What will she wish for? And what are her grandfather, and his dog, Payson, going to do with Susanah & the Frog?
