Nelson Santana (born 28 December 1978 in Bogata) is an Colombian-born American soccer player currently playing for the Syracuse Silver Knights in the Major Indoor Soccer League. Holding duel citizenship, Nelson has represented the United States in small competition. Nelson signed with Syracuse Silver Knights of Major Indoor Soccer League for the 2011a??12 indoor season, the Knights first season as a franchise. On 23 December 2011, Nelson was moved to a Forward's role by coach Tommy Tanner. Nelson scored 2 goals in the win over the Missouri Comets. Currently, Nelson is 4th on the team in points.
